I am always thinking that when you have a secured home, thieves can never attack you until a friend of mine became a victim. I never thought before that identity can be stolen too. If you are a victim of identity theft, you may lose the ability to get and use credit cards, loans, and even the most basic services such as phone service and television. You could even end up in jail due to mistaken identity. We are still lucky that we can have identity theft protection.
