I have been married for just two months when I started to experience nausea, and after a visit with our family doctor, I found out that I was 4 weeks pregnant.  I instantly called my husband and told him the wonderful news.  He took the day off and we started talking about making some baby announcements.  After a week, we held a small gathering at our apartment and announced my condition, our families and close friends were all very happy for both of us.

After eight months, our little bundle of joy came.  And my husband was so overjoyed that we made so many birth announcements, that the hospital room was filled with congratulation cards, flowers and fruit baskets.  I was so happy that there were so many people I can share such a wonderful moment in our lives with.  Our parents, upon receiving their birth announcements, were our first visitors.  It was really helpful sending out all those birth and baby announcements, we did not forget to inform anyone.
