My mother loves tending her garden at our backyard.  She pulls the weeds, tills the soil and handpicks insects and other pests from her planting bed, this process sometimes takes her all morning to accomplish.  And after that she’s so tired to do anything else, especially when her back aches so much.  However, though she keeps tidying up her garden, it still doesn’t look at all neat, as though something’s lacking.

When our grandma visited us one weekend, she instantly saw what was lacking in our garden.  She said we should put some garden edging to have that finished look and a clean edge, separating our lawn from our planting bed.  She said that for practical reasons, garden edging helps in preventing the grass from growing inside our planting beds.  And also she suggested raised garden beds, since my mom has problems with her back, having raised garden beds will reduce our mom’s back strain from bending over.  After making a few purchases and with do-it-yourself procedures, our garden never looked better, with our easy assembly garden edgers and raised garden beds; our garden is always nice and lovely.
