Ever since I took that flight to the US, it’s been two years since I last saw my family. It’s a little lonely when you’re away from your loved ones, but when you think about the financial assistance you’re able to provide them, I feel I sudden burst surge of energy to go on.  The loneliness really takes its toll during the Christmas season, but I’m so grateful about web cam and the internet, I get to see and talk to family face-to-face.

During the months of October and November, I start to collect items that I’ll be putting inside my Christmas package, like chocolates, canned good, house gadgets, and etc.  Anything that I think they might need back at home.  But today I’m heading to the mall to buy them their Christmas gifts, the perfect gifts for my parents are easy, cash. But I still put a little something in the package for them like Louis Vuitton replica wallet and timepiece.  I could only afford to buy replicas; they wouldn’t know that it’s not the real thing anyway.  I got my brothers Adidas shoes that I bought at a recent bazaar; they were cheaper than those Adidas shoes found in the mall, so I got them two pairs each.  I even threw in a few cheap NFL jerseys, for anyone that might want them.  After making sure that the package is full, I send them for home as soon as possible, to make it for Christmas.   Being away from your family on Christmas really is lonely, but its okay, next year I’ll make sure I’ll be personally handing out their presents to them.
