Whether your company is large or small, you send faxes. You send them from one point to point and very often, from one point to many. Using the net to transmit faxes in any number seems like a no-brainer, given the cost savings in long-distance bills alone. Why make a total call for a traditional fax if you can make a local call by connecting to the net?
Unlike sending voice over the internet, there is little or no qualitative difference when sending faxes this way. There are several basic kinds of faxes services currently offered via the net and we have to look at in each detail.
